Sarah Garzoni’s world is one of dreams, improbable crossovers between nature and artifice. The work of this artist is based on observation and experimentation, bringing together representations, contemporary knowledge, and the power of invention of aesthetic practice. Sarah Garzoni’s approach indeed consists of original work on the object (object-object, object-animal …) both on its materiality and on the mechanisms that make it exist in a conceptual and symbolic network. It is in this spirit that the artist explores the notion of animality, which she apprehends from different points of view: from mythology to history, from sociology to ethology through ethnology. “My work is a work of limits” she writes ; a back and forth between human and animal.
