Photography is a starting point for me. I compare it to a malleable raw material, working it for several years by assembly. I cut and take, tear, organize and stick. I build it piece by piece. Using the collage technique, I seek to find a balance between these heterogeneous fragments from multiple sources (archives, newspapers, ebay, etc.). These are often photographs that have been consumed, frozen waste, forgotten. I collect them, take them out of a stream and then try to make them hold together on paper regardless of their origin but by playing on their singularity and their visual properties. A new space is installed where possibilities are questioned. An event or a news event can be triggers just like a photographed color or texture.
